Martial arts have always been influential in my life. As a child, during recess we acted out our Ninja Warrior fantasies on obstacle courses of our creation. In high school, I joined the Martial Arts Club where I was exposed to the disciplines of Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do, Kung Fu, Muay Thai and even shoot fighting. I participated in sparring matches against various styles where my takedown and submission skills would keep me competitive with the faster, sharper striking disciplines.

Those experiences would lead me to the indie professional wrestling circuit in the High Desert. In 1999, I made my in ring debut with the Chaos Wrestling Federation. My well received first match was as an opener on a card which headlined the hardcore legend Terry Funk in the main event. Eventually on a later card, I wrestled a triple threat match where I was crowned CWF Cruiser Weight Champion. However, the fragile world of sports entertainment saw the CWF dissolve not long after. Thankfully, I was a charter member of Absolute Xtreme Wrestling where we would continue to put on shows for the diehard fans we had earned over the years.

By 2006, I was taught to adapt my in-ring skills to the dojo mats. I studied the disciplines of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (art of submission) and Judo (art of takedowns and throws) to sharpen strengths and overcome weaknesses. I believe in team spirit, respecting others, and protecting partners in all we do. Strong character can be achieved through training the body as well as the mind in and out of the dojo. I aim to train hard with a warrior spirit and have some fun in the process.
